Principal’s Message

Are you proud to be a Dragon? YES, WE ARE!!

What does it mean to be a Glenwood Dragon? It means that you are held to high standards of behavior and academics. Our teachers believe that ALL students can learn and do great things. We believe that our students deserve only the best. Each morning we recite our Dragon Pledge. This pledge helps to remind our Dragons that they carry responsibilities for their actions and attitude daily.

WE ARE:
Dependable determined to learn and make good choices
Responsible and respectful to self, others, and property
Always prepared to achieve and use good manners
    Generous and giving to others
On time and open to others ideas
Nice to others with our words and actions
Showing school pride self-control and safety first
WE ARE DRAGONS!!

Welcome to Glenwood! I am Amy Dowdle and I am proud and honored to serve as the Principal here at Glenwood Elementary. This is my 6th year as principal. I have an outstanding staff that loves and cares for students. We maintain high expectations for all learners. We want our students to be successful not only academically but as contributing members of society. My door is always open to students, parents, and community stakeholders. I am excited about the great things that are in store for the 2016-17 school year!!
