Read Across America

Read Across America week celebration begins on Monday! Each day students are invited to participate in a fun activity.

Monday, February 25th: Horton Hears a Who day. Everyone is invited to complete a Random Act of Kindness in honor of the kindness Horton shows. We are collecting cat/dog food for Mercy Fund Animal Rescue.

Tuesday, February 26th: One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish day. Everyone is invited to dress in red or blue in honor of the funny fish in this book.

Wednesday, February 27th: The Lorax: Everyone is invited to wear a mustache in honor of the Lorax! Or, if you prefer, wear orange! :)

Thursday, February 28th: The Cat in the Hat day
Everyone is invited to choose a friend and dress alike! It’s twin day in honor of Thing 1 and Thing 2 from this story!

Friday, March 1st: We are celebrating all of your favorite books today! Please dress as your favorite book character. (This does not have to be a Dr. Seuss book).

FCS NEWS - Rising 6th graders

FCS Online applications are now available for any rising sixth grader interested in attending FCS.
There is a Parent/Student Info Open House Night on January 31st at 6 pm at FCS.
Applications are due on February 28th. Students and their families will receive notification of acceptance or nonacceptance during Spring Break.
